Storylines and change timelines
A storyline links posts about one developing event and shows a short “what changed” delta instead of repeating the whole story.
Before you start
- Open a post connected to the event you care about.
Steps
- Choose Follow storyline.
- Select branches if needed.
- Open Storylines to inspect the timeline.
- Stop following when the topic is done.
Expected result
New related posts extend the timeline and highlight the change.
Important limitations
- Automatic grouping can miss a relation or merge similar events.
If it did not work
- If an update is off-topic, react to it and select a narrower branch.
